Michelle Lynn Monaghan Bio

Michelle Lynn Monaghan, born 23rd March 1976 was an American actor. She is well-known for her performances in the films Kiss Bang Bang (2006), Gone Baby Gone (2007, Made of Honor (2008)), Trucker (2008) and Source Code (2011). Her leading role in Mission: Impossible III (2006), Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol (2011) and Mission: Impossible Fallout (2018) has earned her recognition. Monaghan was also nominated for the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. She was also a character on Sarah Lane on the drama series The Path (2016-18). Monaghan was also a part of Eva Geller in the 2020 Netflix thriller series Messiah and the show was cancelled after one season. Monaghan was born in the tiny town (then with a population of 750) in Winthrop, Iowa, the daughter of Sharon Hammel, and Robert Monaghan who worked as a factory worker. Her older brothers are, Bob and John. Monaghan is mostly of Irish and German origins, and was raised Catholic.She graduated from East Buchanan High School in 1994. She relocated to Chicago after graduating to study journalism at Columbia College Chicago. Then she began modeling. She has modeled in Milan and Tokyo, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Hong Kong, Tokyo and the United States. She quit New York for an acting career after finishing her 1999 journalism degree. She became a model as well as appearing in various catalogs and magazines prior to beginning her acting career. Monaghan was recognized in two television roles as supporting characters in Young Americans' episodes in 2000. In "Consent" Monaghan portrayed the character as Caroline Busse. She also appeared on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit during the same episode. On the 19th of January 2001, she was a part of the cast in "Consent". The same year, her big screen debut was in Perfume as Henrietta. She was again a actor in a supporting role in Unfaithful in 2002. It starred Richard Gere, Diane Lane and other.
