Cecily Strong

Cecily Legler Strong was born in Springfield, Illinois on February 8th, 1984. She is an actor and producer, known for Saturday Night Live (1975), Ghostbusters (2016) and The Boss (2016).Attended Oak Park River Forest High School and Chicago Academy of Arts, finishing in 2002.She played the role of a Latina in her first show on "Saturday Night Live", but she herself is not from a Hispanic heritage. She graduated from California Institute of Arts with a BFA in Theatre. Bill Strong, her dad was the Associated Press bureau chief for the Illinois Statehouse. He was a performer in the Gridiron show that was staged by the state corps, impersonating the governor. He is a big supporter of Cecily.
