Rachel Emily Nichols

Rachel Emily Nichols was born in Augusta, Maine, the daughter of Alison and James Nichols, a schoolteacher. She is of English, French Canadian, German, Irish, Italian and Scottish ancestral roots. Cony High School was her high school in Augusta. She graduated with a diploma in math and a competitive high jump. Columbia University in New York City was where she graduated with the double degree of math and economics. She began modeling and launched an impressive career in modeling, with prominent companies such as Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch or L'Oreal. Rachel began acting by landing a role in the HBO situation comedy Sex and the City (1998) at her very first audition. She made her film debut in the role of Jessica Matthews in the prequel Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd (2003). Her film career continued to be successful with roles in projects such as The Amityville Horror (2004), The Inside (2006), Alias (2002), and G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra 2009, Criminal Minds 2005 (a frequent role in the role of FBI Agent Ashley Seaver), and Conan the Barbarian 2011 Columbia University, where she obtained a double degree in economics and mathematics, was her leading role in the role of Kiera Cameron (police officer) on the science fiction series Continuum (2012). Modeled for Guess?, Abercrombie & Fitch and L'Oreal. The first part she auditioned for was that of a restaurant hostess for Sex and the City (1998). Her maternal grandfather was three-quarters Italian and one-quarter German, and her maternal grandmother has English and Scottish ancestral roots. Both Nichols as well as her Star Trek (2009) star Zoe Saldana, went on to work for Stephen Lang. Saldana and Lang were in Avatar (2008); Nichols and Lang in Conan the Barbarian (2011). Michael Kershaw was her real estate developer. She proposed to her on December 30 2013. She is natural blonde.
