Natalie Dormer, born 11 February 1982 was an English actress from England. She has won an Empire Award and been nominated for two Gemini Awards, two Critics Choice Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire. She made her name as Anne Boleyn. A part she played in the Showtime series The Tudors (2008), which received acclaim from the public. In Sweet Nothings (2010), she made her stage debut and she also played the Duchess Of York in Madonna's W.E. (2011) as well as Private Lorraine in Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). The Young Vic praised her performance in After Miss Julie (2012). Dormer was a target of international attention and praise for her role as Margaery Tyrell in the HBO series Game of Thrones (2012-2016) and Cressida in the final two episodes of The Hunger Games franchise (2014-2015) These are her highest-grossing films. She also voiced of Onica in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance (2018), Sara Price Jess Price in The Forest (2016), and Irene Adler/Moriarty for CBS's Elementary (2013)-15. The actress was recognized for her role as the lead in the mini-series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels (2020). Dormer was born in Reading, Berkshire, England on the 11th of February, 1982. She was the daughter of Gary Dormer and wife Claire Richards and the sister of Mark Dormer and Samantha Dormer.
