Natasha Henstridge

  

Natasha Tonya Henstridge - born on August 15, 1975, is a Canadian actress from Canada. She rose to fame in 1995 when she landed her first appearance in the sci-fi thriller Species. Then came Species II, as well as Species III. She has been a star in numerous TV series , including Maximum Risk (1996). The Complete Nine Yards(2000), The Whole Ten Yards (2006), Ghosts of Mars 2001, She Spies (2002-2004), Eli Stone (2009), and Would Be Kings (2008). In the last one, she was given the Gemini Award to Best Actress. She has been starring on the CBC Television series Diggstown since 2019. Henstridge was born to Helen Henstridge, an entrepreneur and homemaker, and Brian Henstridge who is a manager and builder. She grew up in Fort McMurray with her younger brother Shane. At the age of 14, Henstridge was a participant in the Modeling Agency of Casablanca's Look of the Year contest and was crowned the as the first runner-up. She traveled to Paris in the following year to further her modeling ambitions. At age 15 she was featured on the cover of her debut magazine which was the French edition of Cosmopolitan. A number of other covers were released and Henstridge went on to do television commercials for products like Olay, Old Spice and Lady Stetson. Henstridge was now a renowned model and began commercials. She decided that she would rather be acting.

Kari Matchett (Canadian actress) is well-known for her role in films like Apartment Hunting' and Men with Brooms'. She was raised in Spalding and graduated from the high school in Alberta.
